So the charity football match is back!

For those that were not in the company when I last did one (Pre COVID), this was a great event to raise lots of money for magic moments. We raised £600 from entry fees and raffle tickets purchased on the day.

It was the best of the Essex/Suffolk region vs the best of head office. Unfortunately head office won the game 2 – 1 in a closely contested game at the Witham football ground.

I have worked hard to get the game at either Colchester, Ipswich and Chelmsford football stadiums with no success as it stands, but I have got permission (Unless I am advised otherwise) that we can have the Witham stadium for a game on Wednesday the 28^th of August for an evening game to start at 7:30pm.

This is not just for those that want to play football, this is a great chance for friends, family and colleagues to come along support the game and then have some drinks and food during and after the game and to potentially win some raffle prizes in the clubhouse after. Socially it was nice to get a lot of the region together last time I organised the event.

Initially I just need to know who is up for playing a full 90 minutes 11 a side game (Potentially there will be subs, so may not be the full 90 minutes you play depending on numbers). The game will be for charity as the main focus, but like the last game it will be competitive in nature and we cannot lose to head office again! Lol

My aim is to raise £1000 for this event so if you are not playing, please save this date and get as many of your friends, family and colleagues down to Witham to support the event.  

For anyone that wants to play, there will be an entry fee of £15 per player (All proceeds to Magic Moments). I will find out if this will be easier to be taken from your wages, or whether cash is better (I will await confirmation from Steve/Mel on this).

I am liaising with Mel and Steve on potential prizes we can get arranged for the raffle (So these will be announced closer to the time). All tickets can be purchased on the day before all prizes won via the lucky draw to be done after the game in the clubhouse.
